Black Swan

"A psychological thriller set in the world of New York City ballet, "Black Swan" stars Natalie Portman as Nina, a featured dancer who finds herself locked in a web of competitive intrigue with a new rival at the company (Mila Kunis). A Fox Searchlight Pictures release by visionary director Darren Aronofsky ("The Wrestler"), "Black Swan" takes a thrilling and at times terrifying journey through the psyche of a young ballerina whose starring role as the Swan Queen turns out to be a part for which she becomes frighteningly perfect."

  3. Thanks so much for coming over to my blog- please come back often. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts. As for your previous post- have you checked out the band Warpaint? They're from LA- the singer guitar played and bassist are all women- which is awesome.

i really want to see this.
the wrestler was brilliant and made me cry.
i know that this one is going to be great.
i saw the russian ballet perform swan lake a few years ago on my birthday and it has always affected me since...when i was in highschool i learned to play part of the score on the violin.

i think a lot of young women (and men) will probably relate to this film...perfectionism is like a knife.
