Hi my name is Britanie Faith and I am a Natural Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger and Photographer by day, Herbalist and Creator of Concoctions by night.
My love of health and natural beauty came from dealing with years of Chronic health conditions (Endometriosis, Gerd, Gastroparesis and Fibromyalgia) which inspired me to make my life cleaner in every way and to try to heal myself naturally. I am constantly researching to find natural ways to heal myself and others through Herbs, Acupuncture, Yoga and Pilates, Holistic and Chinese Medicine, Diet, Exercise and Meditation. I also am passionate about only using Natural and Non-Toxic Beauty Products as up to 70% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream. I think it's extremely important to ingest and apply the least amount of chemicals as possible. I blog daily on http://beautybybritanie.com where I am committed to sharing my experiences, likes and dislikes in regards to everything from day to day life, health and where I get my inspiration and positive outlook on life from beauty of all kinds. I see every day as an opportunity to radiate happiness and love into the world and onto others.
External beauty is as important as Internal beauty so these are my favorite products
- My Organic Rose Lavender Clay Face Mask and Scrub - This mask is one of my all-time favorite treatments. I make everything by hand and use only the finest of organic ingredients. I do plan on selling this and other products in a future Etsy shop but in the mean time I am taking orders for this face mask if you are interested in trying it please let me know!
- Manuka Honey- is a staple in my every day routine. I take it internally and use it in my skincare just about every day or night. It is essential for hydrating my skin and helps to heal any sort of blemishes, skin irritations or dryness. I also love to use it in Tea but try to use it when the water is not boiling hot as it will remove many of the important enzymes in the honey.
- Macro Life Greens by Macro - I like to add this powder to my water and sip it throughout the day. It keeps my body alkaline and I am also getting my daily dose of greens, enzymes, fruits and probiotics.
- Osmia Organics Honey-Myrrh Lip Repair - This lip repair is the best thing I have ever discovered for my lips. It completely clears up any dryness over night and leaves my lips feeling so soft and hydrated. I am a huge fan of Osmia Organics products and this is one of the products that I simply cannot be without.
- May Lindstrom The Clean Dirt - I love May and I love her line. Her formulations are like no other. This scrub is an all-time favorite and always leaves my face with a beautiful glow after using.
My Lifestyle is Calm, creative and clean. Living and loving and finding beauty in everything. Making my world a little cleaner one less chemical at a time.

Although I do love caffenaited teas including English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green Teas and White Teas, I am especially in love with herbal teas and these are just some of my very favorites:
People who have inspire/d me
In 5 years I want to be married to the love of my life, have a baby. Grow my own herbs in my garden and continue to make holistically blended skincare and tea concoctions for friends, family and potential clients. I want to help to heal myself and others in any way possible.
Dream vision board, what would your ideal day consist of?
blending a plethora of herbs together and making a delicious pot of tea, reading a good book, watching a movie, meditating in the sunshine, practicing yoga or qi-gong in the evening, being surrounded by my animals and loved ones and creating in the form of skincare, accessories and art.
One piece of advice
Life is short and can often be full of sadness and pain, but if you try your hardest to live in the moment and to stay positive no matter what the circumstance, you will start to recognize that there is beauty in every experience and that things will get better if you live each day moment to moment. Try to see every day as an opportunity to radiate happiness and love into the world and onto others.

Although I do love caffenaited teas including English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green Teas and White Teas, I am especially in love with herbal teas and these are just some of my very favorites:
- Rose Tea - Drinking a cup of rose tea a day can help combat depression and anxiety. It also helps regulate and balance hormonal production.
- Chamomile Tea - My favorite herbal tea of all time. I drink this every night before bed to help me feel calmer. It is also wonderful for stomach discomfort.
- Ginger Tea - Wonderful for digestion, nausea, inflammation or stomach upset.
- Dandelion Tea - Great for detoxing the liver and ridding the body of extra water weight. It is also a lovely Coffee substitute.
- Rooibos Tea - I drink Rooibos daily. I also use it in my skincare daily. It has exceptional skin healing properties and is full of anti-oxidants.
People who have inspire/d me
- Edna St. Vincent Millay - I first came across Edna's poems when I was in 5th grade and had to do a report on a famous poet. I searched the internet and found her poem "The Spring and The Fall" and immediately fell in love. After writing my report on her I started to collect her books of poetry and to read them daily. She is who first inspired me to start writing poetry. I relate to her words more than I can say and have always felt a deep connection to her writing and way of expression.
- Marilyn Monroe - I have admired Marilyn since the age of twelve when I received my first poster of her and was in awe of her physical beauty. As I got older I started to research her and found that I had much in common with her. I realized how severely misunderstood she was in her life and it drew me to her. I have an affinity towards Marilyn more than any other celebrity and continue to collect anything in relation to her.
- Kris Carr - I have had the pleasure of meeting and spending time with Kris. She is one of the sweetest, most down to earth people I have ever met. When I first read her book I related so much to her way of writing. I have never dealt with Cancer but I deal with chronic health issues on a daily basis and I found that I could really relate to many of her chronic struggles and deep desire to better herself in every way.
- Natalia Rose - I first met Natalia for a consultation in 2007 and was star-struck. I was a huge fan of hers before meeting her and was even more impressed by her after our consultation. She helped me with so much and even made me her intern for awhile, I helped her work on her third book and had so much fun working with someone who I had looked up to as an inspiration for so long. I also was a part of her Rose Program and learned so much knowledge that will forever be a part of my daily life. She really opened up her home to me and I truly admire her so much as a person.
- Drew Barrymore - I used to carry Drew's photo in a key-chain to every doctors appointment and surgery. She was such a vital part of my teenage years and helped me so much through some of my most painful times. I absolutely love her personality and have considered her a long-time inspiration.
- Lana Del Rey - Lana's music is like medicine to me. Her voice calms me and her lyrics inspire me. I met her last year and it was one of the best nights of my life. She is full of so much talent and no matter what I do, I cannot ever get enough of her voice, lyrics and style.
In 5 years I want to be married to the love of my life, have a baby. Grow my own herbs in my garden and continue to make holistically blended skincare and tea concoctions for friends, family and potential clients. I want to help to heal myself and others in any way possible.
