I love lace knitting, making homemade pie-dough. I love journaling but I haven't done much of it lately. I used to be a journaling demon as a child. I think it was my method of communicating. And of course to document.
It isn't the end of the year/beginning of winter just yet but I think what I have learned in the span of 12 months is that if you want something, or even to materialize your dreams you have to work hard, diligently and consistently at it
Perhaps dreams have become a concept similar to snow, rainfall or mail - we think it will come. Sometimes we simply expect it to. But I don't think believe that idealism is a fault. Dreamer's are artists who practice within a different medium.
I have a lot of dreams. Sometimes they change, sometimes I realize they weren't meant to last. It isn't that different from painting. You have this visual and once you put brush to paper, and begin the journey it may take a form quite different than what you perceived. Still, dreams - are worth chasing. Even if you get winded and tired of running. It's worth it.
